From Jubilee Mall Hammanskraal, Gauteng to Mphephu Plaza,Nzhelele, Vhembe District.
Muofhe Shavhani, a 41 year old school teacher at Rakgotso Secondary in Hammanskraal made a name for herself in the male dominated sport.

She chose Women’s day, August 9th to amplify her message. # GBV must end.
Muofhe’s journey spans over 406 km tracing a path through Limpopo’s diverse landscapes. ” Never undermine yourself”, she says.
With each pedal stroke, she was fuelled by determination and vision for a safer, more equal society.

Born and raised at Mudunungu, a village in Vhembe District, her courageous ride and skill inspired many young female cyclists and she’s become a role model for the sport, pushing for greater recognition and opportunities for female riders.
Her journey has garnered support from local communities, activists and fellow cyclists.

As Muofhe raised her arms in triumph, completing her journey, her message resonates loader than ever: It’s time for change.
Her courage inspires us to stand against GBV, stop disrespecting females, support survivors and work towards a future where women can live without fear.
