The Limpopo Green and Climate Action Schools Programme (LGCASP) Educators Workshop was successfully conducted at the Thohoyandou National Botanical Garden. A total of fifteen registered schools participated in the workshop, with each school represented by two educators.
The primary aim of the workshop was to capacitate educators who will coordinate and implement the Programme within their respective schools alongside learners. The training equipped educators with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively manage and deliver Programme activities on school grounds.

The workshop focused on six key thematic areas that will guide programme implementation:
Natural Resources Management
Climate Change Adaptation
Climate Change Mitigation
Cross-Curriculum Integration
Community Participation
Sustainability of the Project
Participating Schools will implement the programme across three educational phases:
Foundation Phase ( Grade 3 )
Intermediate Phase ( Grade 6)
Senior Phase (Grade 9 )

The educators workshop sparked a sense of urgency and responsibility among attendees, with plans to implement community-driven initiatives.
